My path into this work was not born from perfection, certainty, or easy healing. It was born from survival, remembrance, and the long process of learning how to return to myself.
Like many women, I grew up surrounded by dysfunction, trauma, and experiences that disconnected me from my body, my voice, and my sense of worth. For many years, I carried those wounds silently while moving through cycles of addiction, unhealthy relationships, instability, and self destruction.
For a long time, I believed healing belonged to other people.
Then, in 2016, something shifted.
In the middle of a painful and deeply unhealthy chapter of my life, the words “I deserve to be happy” moved through me while journaling one afternoon. Something about that moment cracked me open. Years of grief, shame, trauma, and survival surfaced all at once, and for the first time, I stopped running from myself.
That moment became the beginning of a different life.
Not a perfect life. Not a life free from grief, uncertainty, or continued healing, but a life rooted in awareness, truth, and remembrance.
Over the years, my healing journey led me into deep exploration of shadow work, spirituality, embodiment, trauma, ritual, feminine awakening, and collective healing. While I have studied many modalities and received various certifications, the greatest teacher has been lived experience itself.
Today, my work exists through my books, writing, community spaces, and creative offerings. Through She Who Remembers, I explore what it means for women to reconnect with themselves, reclaim their voices, and remember who they were before conditioning taught them to forget.
I no longer believe healing is about becoming someone new. I believe it is about returning to what has always been waiting beneath the survival.
If my story resonates with you, I hope you know this:
You are not broken.
You are becoming.
With love,
Kelly
